At the Azerbaijan State Advanced Training Institute for Doctors named after Aziz Aliyev, in the Department of Nervous Diseases and Clinical Neurophysiology, he is a doctoral candidate, and he heads the Migraine and Headache Centre at the Citomed clinic.
At the Danish Headache Center of the University of Copenhagen he combined clinical practice with active participation, as a research physician, in numerous multicentre studies devoted to the study of the pathophysiological mechanisms of migraine.

- Member, grant holder and speaker of the International Headache Society and the European Headache Federation;
- Co-founder of the “Azerbaijani Migraine Specialists” Public Union (AMMİB) and authorised representative at the European Headache Federation.
