Held on 17–19 October in the city of Mersin in Turkey, the 10th GMPS and 6th MENA Management of Headache Congress was one of the most respected international scientific events in the field of headache and migraine.
At this congress, as head of the Migraine and Headache Centre and founder of the Azerbaijan Public Union of Migraine Specialists, we represented Azerbaijan.
At the event we spoke both as a speaker and as chair of one of the scientific sessions. Our talk was devoted to the subject of “Correct patient-targeted questioning” and was received with great interest by the participants. During the talk we shared information, based on scientific evidence and practical experience, about the role of an individual approach to patients, of correct questioning technique and of purposeful questioning in clinical diagnosis.
The congress gave us the opportunity to exchange scientific views with leading European and Middle Eastern researchers in headache and migraine, with representatives of international associations and with other investigators, and to discuss new areas of collaboration.
For our scientific work at the event and for our chairing of a session, the congress organising committee honoured us as speaker, session chair and active participant with international certificates.
Our participation in this congress was of great importance both for our professional development and for the representation of Azerbaijan on the international scientific stage in the field of headache and migraine.
